I have a confession to make. I have been lurking on Rachel Anne's blog, Home Sanctuary, for several months now. I don't always do the Small Things challenges, but I do THINK about doing them (ha ha ha - how bad is that!), after I finish working with the Family Day Care children, at the end of next week.
So anyway, I have decided to come out of the closet, have emailed Rachel Anne and asked her if I may please become a Company Girl too. Please please please please, pretty please!
Perhaps for my first Company Girl Coffee session, I will tell you about our own special part of Paradise. I am a wife to Brad, and mum to Miss Naomi (nearly 2). I am also pregnant with our second baby, due in March. And I am hot... darn hot. You see, we live in tropical North Queensland, Australia. Where it is currently summer, and monsoon season as well - so hot, humid and driving me crazy!
But I do love Christmas, and am looking forward to having my sister and her family of 4 kids stay with us for the next week. Am hoping to get the rum balls and Christmas cake made today, so that is one less thing to do before Christmas. I do looooove rum balls!

Welcome to Company Girl Coffee! I live in Texas and we are experiencing a dust storm today! Those are always fun! :-P
I've never had rum balls. But I think all Christmas food is good food! Have a Merry Christmas.
We need more hot mamas in our group!:)
I am thrilled to have you along as a Company Girl, and don't feel bad......there are lots and lots of people who read along and just think about doing the Small Things. If you get one done every now and then, great! If you jump in and go to town with them, so much the better!!
The rum balls sound wonderful, even a little beachy. I know you enjoy Boxing Day (?) down under and I enjoy finding out how everyone else celebrates the holiday.
Thanks for linking up for Coffee! It's such a great way to get to know each other, so easy because no one can actually SEE your house and you don't have to clean the bathroom before anyone comes over. I love this kind of visiting!! :)
Welcome to Company Girl Coffee. The rum balls sound great and you're doing better than me; I haven't done any Christmas baking so far this year.
I'm sending you some of this great snow and cold temps from Eastern WA...makes for great coffee drinking weather! Welcome to Company Girl Coffee~
So glad to have met another Company Girl! I don't do all of the challenges, either, but I find that I'm more willing to do something around the house each day just to keep the house in order.
And, on the days that I do follow Rachel Anne's challenges, I don't even always do them for the points. Sometimes I do them just because they really, really need done.
You have some great ideas on your blog. I'll be back.
Well now I'll have to check out Company Girls! We could use some of that warm weather, it is currently 10 F outside right now. We make bourban balls, ya know the Kentucky girl in me and I'm with you they are yummm!!
